1. Frequently asked questions

1.1 What is webportfolio?

With webportfolio, you can monitor the status of your portfolio online.

Once you login to our website with your username and PIN code, you can use webportfolio to access your portfolio information. If you do not currently have a PIN code or username, you can request one from your personal advisor.

In order for you to become familiar with our online service, we have set up a sample account for you which will allow you to test the functionality of webportfolio at your own convenience with test data.

1.2 How do I obtain a PIN-Code?

If you currently have an asset management account, you can contact your personal advisor to request free online access to your safe-custody account.
Should you at some point forget your PIN code, you can apply to your advisor for a new code by providing your agreement number. If there are five incorrect login attempts in a row to your account, access to your webportfolio will be blocked. If this happens, simply apply to your advisor for a new code by providing your agreement number.

1.3 How safe are my data?

We encrypt your data using 128 Bit SSL protection --> see note on security (there are 2^128 = some 340,282,366,920,900,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 possible keys), which corresponds to the highest level of security currently available for Internet Banking. This high encryption standard is available automatically when using Internet Explorer Version 4.0 or higher or Netscape Version 4.0 or higher. All sensitive, personal data transmitted via webportfolio are encrypted. We recommend that you close your browser once you have finished using webportfolio, since this will prevent others who use the same computer from learning of your visit to the webportfolio page. After you have accessed webportfolio, another user could possibly view information that was in your browser window by using the "page back" key. However, they would be unable to see your username or PIN code, since this information is immediately deleted by the browser once you leave the login page. In addition, you can delete the pages you visited by calling up browser history (Ctrl+H), or access "browser options" to delete the complete browsing history. Our data-processing centres and webserver are of course protected against unauthorised third-party access.

1.4 What are the browser requirements?

For the unprotected areas on this site, you need a browser in the version 4 or higher (MS Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher or Netscape Navigator or higher).
For the secure areas of these pages, we recommend MS Internet Explorer version 4.01 or higher or Netscape Navigator version 4.5 or higher.
We require 128 bit encryption.
You can determine the level of security used by your browser by opening MS Internet Explorer and selecting ? on the menu bar, and then selecting Info. Netscape Navigator only indicates the level of security used while being downloaded. If you already have a version of Netscape Navigator installed, to be on the safe side, you can always download a version with 128-bit encryption and then use this to update the installed version.

1.5 How does one print out a page?

webportfolio is based on frames. Thus it is important that you make sure that the cursor is in the appropriate frame before you make a print out. If you do this, you will be able to print out the desired data and not the information in the upper and lower frames. Select the print option "landscape format" to print out pages with broad tables. A number of pages allow you to use the printer button to directly start the printing process.
